It's a BIG week! Art, Music and More! <3
Not only am I launching prints this week, I'm also expanding my virtual co-work group and performing shows!
It’s Print Launch Week!
This is a big deal to me and your support means a lot. I’ve worked hard behind the scenes for this summer to find the best printers to partner with to make my art more accessible for all. I’ve found them, we’re all set up and ready to go and I can finally tell you more about what will be made available this Thursday at 8am PST!
I’ll be launching 9 art prints that come in a variety of sizes!
Sizes range from 5x7 inches all the way up to 24x36 inches, with plenty of sizes in between to suit your space. I offer a variety of print sizes, so please note: some of the edges of the original painting are cropped to fit unique print sizes.
Prices are just $19 - $54. I’m pricing them as affordably as possible as I launch in hopes that you can scoop a print or two for yourself or someone you love.
All are Museum-Quality Gilcee Art Prints, made from my original acrylic painting and printed on thick matte paper.
Would you like a peek at a few of the prints that I am most excited to share with you? Ok, let’s do it :) These are my 3 personal favorite loose landscape pieces. I’ll have some more abstract pieces available too!

It’s the first week of October which also means, it’s time to sign up for my virtual co-work group, “Parallel Play.” For the second half of this year, I’ve been hosting a twice weekly virtual co-work group every Tuesday and Thursday from 9am - 11am PST. And this month, I’m not only offering a Tues/Thurs group, but a Weds eve group (6-9pm PST) too for those dealing with day jobs, wanting to get shit done at night.
Here’s what folks are saying about it:
“I have ADHD and am self employed, so staying on task and finding time for everything can be so difficult. Having this session on my calendar two times a week helped me get so many things done - everything from cleaning to creative projects.” - Ashley
“I work from home, getting back to it after a year on sick leave for depression. It is still hard for me to focus, stay on track and i now have a real struggle with social interactions. So having this little community twice a week allowed me to feel like i’m not alone, have more motivation and some sort of accountability with the check-ins.” - Vanessa
“Parallel Play has given me a comforting space to being in community while being an introvert who needs a little body doubling to stay focused. Moorea and the new friends I’ve met have given me such great advice and support in my personal projects and even some of my work too! It’s a safe space for shy bbs :)” - Tara
Wanna get some shit done with us? Everyone is welcome no matter your age, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, religion, abilities, or any part of your identity. This is a welcoming and encouraging space and I hope I get the chance to support you in October whether your painting, crafting, or getting your least fave tasks done. I’m here to help!
TUES / THURS : 9am - 11am PST and/or WEDS : 6pm - 9pm PST.
Another fun thing is going down on Oct 5th, this time, it is musical! I’ve been singing a little backup for my friend K Van Petten recently and they’ve invited me to sing along with them on a Joni Mitchell song at the last installment of Great Women of Folk & Country at the Royal Room.
In one of my many previous lives, I was a musician. And I mean that literally, I was a musician In high school, college, and after :) I worshipped Joni Mitchell as a teen with big feels and an old soul, and I taught myself guitar at 15. I wrote my first and only album at 19 and named it, “Be My Friend.” lol. I was a tender and shy young one. I performed throughout college as a solo artist. And the year after college, I was in a band called The Mopes. You can still find our one album haunting the internet, though, ahem, I was not credited as singing on the album… we don’t need to get too into that but let’s just say, being a liberal woman in a band with a bunch of religious boys was a challenge.
In happier reflections, I had so much fun singing with K Van Petten at Sunset Tavern in Ballard on Tuesday and again at Chop Suey on Capitol Hill on Thursday. We sang a few of their tunes and a few covers too. I’m going to have to convince K to make a music video with me of our cover of Mazzy Stars “Fade Into You” because it’s too dreamy not to capture and making music videos with friends is fun. The cover I did last year with my friends Anika and the Sistine Chaplain of “Don’t Dream It’s Over” is available to watch/listen over on youtube and I’m kind of shocked, it has 27k plays!
Here’s to more music, more art, more making and more community through the end of 2023. Wishing you all the same!!!
The paintings are so beautiful!!
